Are you new to LA? Or are you just stuck in a rut? These five destinations might be just what you need.
If you’re in the mood for a treat that’s out of this world or something a little on the darker side try Little Damage ice cream shop, Located in DTLA, one of the most diverse cities in America, Little Damage is a small family owned business that draws its inspiration from the rich cultural fabric that makes Los Angel
es special. If you’re thinking that this is just a boring old ice cream shop then you’re in for a real treat. Not only are their recipes handcrafted and slow churned but they also rotate their flavors seasonally. If you’re worried that you won’t remember your experience then stop by their free photo booth on your way out.
If sweets aren’t your style and nature is then why not hike up to the observatory located on the highest point of the Macarthur Park mountain range. Along the way, you can see the Hollywood sign and the Hollywood hills. There are lots of scenic views along the way and there’s even a park located in the valley just beneath the observatory.
If what you’re looking for is more on the romantic side of things. Then why not bring along a picnic basket and a bottle of wine to the plaza in front of the observatory.
If you’re looking for something a bit more adventurous then stop by the Le Brea Tar Pits. They are located on ancient Tribal lands and they have an interesting museum. The museum is perfect for anyone wanting to learn more about all that the site has uncovered from thousands of years buried away. From huge skeletons from the dinosaurs to fauna and flora from the Paleolithic to the last glacial era. The park is known for producing myriad mammal fossils dating from the last glacial period. While mammal fossils generate significant interest, other fossils, including fossilized insects and plants, and even pollen grains, are also valued. If you get thirsty while you’re there then why don’t you stop by any of the surrounding cafes for a bit of a Nash.
If what you’re into is cheap but extremely out of the box romance then I would take the trip to the Expo Park Rose Garden. This particular garden is interesting in and of itself however what makes it romantic is that it’s like wandering into a
garden straight out of an old-fashioned love story. If you’re one of those Brainy romantics then you and your date should really enjoy all of the museums that surround the rose garden. From the history museum to the museum of aviation. The rose garden has a little bit of something for everyone including some food for when youget hungry.
if you want an any occasion place to drink then try the. Located on the 71st floor of the US Bank building. It has a 360° view of the entire LA skyline. They have signature drinks in honor of the most popular LA destinations. However, they also have a semi-formal dress code but barring that the have very imaginative, high-end food at fast food prices. Open seating and you will be mesmerized by how beautiful the sunset looks from the 360° view.
My name is Gypsy and I hope that this list of must go places in LA most helpful in getting out of your funk or just exploring a new place.

I am the first person to stray away from an already set routine when it comes to anything. I tried not eating bread, failed. I tried exercising in the morning, failed. But when it comes to my face, I am not playing around!
When I moved to New York a couple months ago, I abandoned my skin care routine, and it was the worst thing that I could ever do. Before then, my skin care routine was simple but not ethical or even healthy. I would just use African Black Soap, which is not a bad thing to use, however, I wear makeup and I needed something stronger to break down the makeup. After that, I was using a moisturizer from Derma E which I received from them for a review, and honestly, it wasn’t a good moisturizer. It clogged up my pores and it still had my face feeling dry. When I moved to New York, there were so many things going on at the time and I just gradually stopped my skin care routine. I would have to rush out in the morning every day and that resulting in me just throwing water on my face and using body lotion to moisturize my face. Because it was winter in New York, My face was drier than a raisin and I hated it.
I then moved to LA and that when I started taking better care of my face. I started with the THREE STEP CLEANSER from Clinique. My skin was super dry and the three step cleanser was the miracle I needed to get my skin back on track. I will be honest with you, I was not trying to spend a lot of money and my first place I went to for skin care solution was Kmart! Yes, I did, please don’t judge me! Because you’re probably asking yourself, why should I take advice from this dysfunctional person? Well, I’ll tell you why because Cliniques three step cleanser was what helped get my skin back together and it’s so simple that a monkey could do it. and the whole process only takes five minutes so, from the words of my loving and nagging boyfriend, stop being lazy and wash your damn face!
As the wonderful nation of the United States of America get ready to celebrate it 241st birthday, we will be showing you the top three cities that has the best fireworks displays that will bring out your patriotism ten-fold.
The fireworks show on the San Francisco Bay is complimented by some dramatic backdrops, such as the city skyline and the Golden Gate Bridge. The huge bay provides plenty great views of the fireworks, but one of the best views is from the water itself.
The fireworks are launched from a barge in front of Pier 39 and on the end of Municipal Pier.
One of the most patriotic fireworks display in the nation right in the nation’s capital. According to The District tourist guide, about 700,000 people travel to the National Mall to watch the fireworks burst and boom in the night sky with the Washington monument and the U.S. Capitol in the background.
This is an all-day event for the city, with celebrations going on in just about every neighborhood and beginning with a parade down Constitution Avenue.
Recognized as the nation’s largest Independence Day celebration, the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks display attracts more than 3 million spectators live and over 10 million TV viewers, according to NBC’s website. This year is the celebration’s 41st anniversary and is the largest Macy’s fireworks display in more than a decade with 56,000 pyrotechnic effects.
For quite some time now, I have not felt like I was being represented in the gay community. The only time you would really see black people represented in the gay community is when they’re trying to promote AIDS awareness.
Thanks to the City of Philidaplphia, they unveiled their new Pride flag that aims to be more of a reflection of the LGBTQA community.
The new flag expands on creator Gilbert Baker’s original design by including black and brown stripes.
Amber Hikes, Philadelphia’s director of LGBT Affairs, said the new flag “instills so much pride in me as a queer black woman.”
“When I see the flag,” she added, “I see myself. The new design is a symbolic representation of Philadelphia’s commitment to centering the experiences, contributions, activism, and dedication of black and brown members of our community. To me, this flag says: ‘We see you. We honor you. We celebrate you. You’re not just a part of us. You are us.’”
According to PGN, Hikes added:
“I feel that when we celebrate Pride Month and the LGBT community at large, we focus heavily on the same voices, identities, and experiences. This year, I want to celebrate people who are too often left out of our narratives. I’m really excited to use this event to highlight people of transgender and gender-nonconforming experience [and] highlight youth and people of color for their contributions to the LGBTQ-liberation movement….
“This is not going to just be in Philadelphia. This is going to take the nation by storm. I believe that very deeply. This is an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate not just Pride but also the community members whose voices and experiences that so often get overlooked. To me, this is a chance to stop saying ‘We’re inclusive’ and to actually begin showing it. More importantly, this flag is a step toward healing for our community and this genuine unity that so many of us are saying we want.”
More than 200 people were in attendance last Thursday to celebrate the unveiling and raising of the flag at the north apron of City Hall.
Flag designer Tierney and the Office of LGBT Affairs have developed a website where people can download the flag for free.
Saturday Night was turned up, to say the least! Terrance and I had so much fun. The only downside was that there was no weed and we paid $50 for watered down vodka!
It was our first time attending LA Pride ever since we moved to LA in March! and we did have higher expectations. I mean, the party was really going outside of the festival, but no one told me that because I have no friend out here! But here are some looks Terrance and I were serving at LA Pride Festival 2017!

Unless you have friends that work at the bar in the festival and you’re able to get special discounts, then don’t attempt to drink when you’re at a festival! I was at LA Pride this weekend and I was ready to turn up. I didn’t pay for a ticket and I was given another ticket that was only good for coming in and not returning. Therefore, I had to chose rather to party inside or leave and party outside. At the time, I thought that the party was going on inside the festival but little did I know that the party was actually outside at the bars. I spent $50 on alcohol and did not get even tipsy!
You have to understand my frustration with this given the fact that I try to be really frugal with my money. I figured, yes drinks are going to be a lot more expensive at the festival, but, at least I’ll have a buzz! I was so fucking wrong! I basically paid $50 for watered down juice.
I swear to God, I wanted to turn back around to the bartender and slap him right in his face. I wasted so much money for no reason at all. So, DOnt even waste your time trying to get drunk at a festival unless your privileged in any type of way that it would not be an expense for you!
As usual, I wake up in the morning and go straight to my computer and Google fashion news. What shows up is the Worldnet hoodie being used as the next red-hot item. Honestly, I can’t get down with this “maybe” soon to be a trend as of now. I mean when the DHL shirt was in turnt, I liked it but now it’s tired and soon will this fad. But I can see myself sporting the hoodie with my face on and some nice red bottoms.
The purpose of the hoodie is to show your knowledge of the fashion industry. Worldnet is a fashion company that delivers samples and other fabrics to different fashion houses. Only fashion insiders or fashion enthusiests know about this company. So, it’s more than just an item to wear.
They’ve become a bit of a casual Friday go-to for industry vets, including PRODn at Art + Commerce senior producer Steven Dam. “It’s a super-witty, smarter (and cheaper) version of the Vetements DHL T-shirt,” Dam explains by email. “Anyone who works in fashion knows Worldnet more than DHL.”
They are so exclusive that it is hard to even get your hands on them. They are currently out of stock as of now but if you manage to get you hands on one of them, you’re in the in-group!
Will you sport this on “casual Friday?”

Black is the most common hair color in the world, and is due to a large amount of eumelanin. So why be so basic? Let me tell you why!
The most common in the world: Brown/black. Globally, both men and women with dark hair are most likely to be engaged by someone of the opposite sex, at 70 percent and 34 percent, respectively. In the U.S., women with brown/black hair have a 40 percent chance of being contacted by a male suitor, while men with brown/black hair have a 66 percent chance.
In my opinion, there is nothing more sexier than black hair. It personally took me a while to realize this but once I realized it it just changed my whole life. Us here at a Glamour Guys are all about doing the most when it comes to fashion but also knowing that simple is the most glamorous of all. Having blank canvases like hair actually brings out any other accessories or makeup and takes your look to a level that is untouchable.
Think fancy and chic. The most luxurious and glamorous people typically wear the same hairstyle or same color or style of clothes. Its then the handbag and the accessories that change everything. Check out some of these looks!
